Simple pleasures...

We found out about this awesome company called Farm Fresh To You who delivers fresh organic fruits and vegetable directly to your house! They have awesome deals on produce that is grown by local farmers... good for us and the economy! Anyway, the reason for this post is not so much to advertise for Farm Fresh (even though they rock!) but to show you how it's enriched Jackson's play time! Jackson has decided that he LOVEs the boxes that the food is delivered in... I found him one day actually in the box with it all closed down around him and he thought it was SO hilarious! Oh to be so easily amused... who needs all those expensive toys?!!!

Makin' A Cake

While making a cake last week Jackson decided he wanted to help, so I posted him up in his high chair and gave him some flour to play with. He was being SO cute, I had to get a video!

Christmas Whirlwind

This Christmas was quite the whirlwind!

We started with a family Christmas on Monday night with just the 3 of us...

On Tuesday my sister, her husband and 3 kids came down from Oregon to stay with us for the week. That night we did Christmas with the Salo side of the family and all the grandkids...

On Wednesday we did Christmas Eve at my mom's house...

They went a little crazy with the gifts this year!

THEN, on Thursday, we spent Christmas day with Bob's parents, sister, her husband and 2 kids. We did a Gingerbread house challenge, boys vs girls (the girls won of course), and had a suprise visit from Santa!

Our winning Gingerbread house is on the right. I have to give it up to the boys though, for being very creative with their Tower of London attempt!

Even with so much going on this year, we had an awesome Christmas. We thank God constantly for all the blessings in our lives!

He's Walking!

Jackson is finally walking! On Thanksgiving day he decided he was ready to let go and started strolling around Grammy Cookie's house all by himself! We unfortunately didn't have the camera handy when it happened, but we shot this adorable video as soon as we got home. Go Jackson go...
