It's a girl!!

Well it's official, we are are going to have a new addition to the family... a baby girl!! Here are some pictures from our 20 week ultrasound. Everything looked healthy and we are more anxious than ever to meet her in February! Jackson knows there is a baby in mommies tummy, but that's about the extent of what his little 2 year old brain can grasp. He's very sweet about it and will give my tummy kisses and sing songs. He has no idea how drastically his life is going to change :)

Rain boots in June

Jackson decided the other day that he wanted to wear his hand-me-down rain boots from Colby. It was adorable to watch him try to walk in them, being that they're about 2 sizes too big! At least they matched his outfit!

Swim Lessons

Jackson started swim lessons this week! He had so much fun with his dad learning how to kick, scoop, blow bubbles and he even went under water for the 1st time!

The Zoo

Mindy's sister Laicy and her family from Oregon were in town this past weekend for a wedding so we got to spend some time with them! We decided on Friday to take the kids to the Sacramento Zoo and Funderland, here are some pics from our outing...

Jackson and Paige at Gymnastics

Jackson and Paige have been in a toddler gymnastics class together at Tricks for the past few months. They've come such a long way in mastering balance, coordination and even just running without tripping over their own feet!! This morning was their annual "presentation" where they were able to show off their new skills for family memebers. Here's a peak at the festivities...

Jackson's Latest Tricks

#1 - Bob showed Jackson how to show his muscles ONCE, and now he does it all the time! What a show off!!

#2 - We learned at Colby's birthday party that Jackson can shove an entire cupcake in his mouth!

#3 - Last but not least, Jackson can now ride a bike AND suck on a binky at the same time!!

(Or at least he thinks he can!!)

Simple pleasures...

We found out about this awesome company called Farm Fresh To You who delivers fresh organic fruits and vegetable directly to your house! They have awesome deals on produce that is grown by local farmers... good for us and the economy! Anyway, the reason for this post is not so much to advertise for Farm Fresh (even though they rock!) but to show you how it's enriched Jackson's play time! Jackson has decided that he LOVEs the boxes that the food is delivered in... I found him one day actually in the box with it all closed down around him and he thought it was SO hilarious! Oh to be so easily amused... who needs all those expensive toys?!!!
